Although the original album had 12 tracks the later digitally remastered CD includes three bonus tracks. These are: a demo of 'Bleeker Street' and alternative versions of 'He Was My Brother' and 'The Sun Is Burning'.

1966 was the year this album was first released.
The song 'The Sound of Silence' also appeared on the first album 'Wednesday Morning 3am'. Following in the steps of Bob Dylan, who had used electric guitars at the Newport Folk Festival, much to the horror of some folk traditionalists, the producer of this album, Tom Wilson, also decided to give 'The Sound of Silence' a similar electric treatment.
