James Madison was the fourth president of the United States. He served in the White House from 1809-1817. He was best known for serving during the War of 1812. He was also the only President to have two Vice-Presidents die during his term of office.

Answer: James A. Garfield

Garfield became president in March, 1881 but was shot down four months later by a disappointed and deranged job hunter. Garfield lingered for two more months and died from infections of the wound. Had x-rays existed, or if his doctors were more able and careful in trying to locate the bullet, Garfield may have survived the wound.

Jim Jones was the leader of the People's Temple, which was a a pseudo-religious organization. In November, 1978, he and his followers were in Jonestown, Guyana, when American congressman, Leo Ryan, was murdered by Jones' henchmen. He was en route to visit him on charges of suspicion of rape and other wrongdoing in the Jones camp.

Afterwards, Jones had his followers drink Kool-aid containing cyanide laced by Jones himself.

Jimi Hendrix was born John Hendrix in Seattle, Washington, in November, 1942. Jim Morrison was born James Douglas Morrison, in Melbourne, Florida, in December, 1943. Hendrix was the founder, singer and guitarist of The Jimi Hendrix Experience. He is revered as one of the most innovative and influential guitarists of psychedelic music.

Many of his hits include 'Purple Haze', 'Fire', 'Hey Joe' and 'Foxey Lady'. Morrison was the lead singer of The Doors, one of the most popular bands of the late 1960s.

They scored several hits, such as 'Hello, I Love You', 'Touch Me' and the number one 'Light My Fire'. Sadly, they both passed away in the early 1970s. Hendrix died of an overdose of amphetamines and choking on his own vomit in a London apartment in September, 1970. Morrison was found dead in a bathtub in a Paris hotel room in July, 1971, where he allegedly overdosed on heroin.
