Tonya was born in Portland, while Warren was born in Ohio. Seven other US presidents have come from Ohio, including William McKinley, Harding's idol. He fashioned his 1920 "Front Porch" campaign for President after McKinley's 1896 "Front Porch" campaign.

Warren Harding, of course, was President during the Prohibition (1919-1933), so he was technically forbidden from booze (although that didn't stop him at all - often he would go to the Belgian Embassy and drink there, as duly recognized foreign embassies are technically foreign soil and Belgium did not have Prohibition).

Interestingly enough, Tonya was ordered by a Clark County judge in February 2000 to avoid alcohol after being booked on domestic violence charges against her then boyfriend, Darren Silver.

Tonya had a sex tape with her boyfriend Jeff Gillooley (now Jeff Stone) released in 1994, stills of which appeared in "Penthouse".

The "Teapot Dome" was a US Navy oil reserve in Wyoming that was leased by interior secretary Fall to a private oil company illegally for huge kickbacks. Although not directly involved with the scandal, it was Harding's executive order that transferred control of the reserve from the Navy (where it belonged) to the Interior.

This was the biggest of the Harding scandals, and "Teapot Dome" is synonymous for all of them.
