Born on 15th May in Glasgow, Andy Murray turned pro in 2005, and became world tennis number one on 7th November 2016.

Andy Murray became the first British tennis player to win his home country Grand Slam tournament (Wimbledon) since 1977, when Virginia Wade took home the Ladies' title.

Born on 17th January 1949 in New York City, Andy Kaufman appeared on the first ever broadcast of "Saturday Night Live" on 11th October 1975, and was best-known for his role as Latka Graves, an auto mechanic of indeterminate nationality, on the hit sitcom "Taxi".

Andy Kaufman died of lung cancer in 1984, aged just 35. His life was documented in the 1999 biographical comedy movie "Man on the Moon" which starred Jim Carrey as Kaufman.

Andrew James Clutterbuck was born on 14th September 1973 in London. He began using "Andrew Lincoln" as his stage name while attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

His first big break came when he was cast as Edgar 'Egg' Cook in the popular UK drama series "This Life" (1996), and he had his first major film role as Mark in the romantic comedy "Love Actually" in 2003.

Andrew Jackson was born on 15th March 1767 in the Waxhaw Settlement between North and South Carolina. Considered to be the founder of the Democratic Party, he served as the seventh President of the United States from 1829 to 1837.

Andrew Jackson died of chronic tuberculosis, dropsy, and heart failure at the age of 78 in 1845, and was buried in the garden of his home, The Hermitage, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born on 25th November 1835 in Dunfermline, Andrew Carnegie moved to Pennsylvania, USA with his family in 1848 in search of a better life as they were struggling to make ends meet.

He worked a series of railroad jobs before leaving in 1865 to focus on other business interests. By 1889 he owned Carnegie Steel Corporation, the largest of its kind in the world, and was responsible for revolutionizing the production of steel in the USA.

Born on 6th December 1977 in Preston, Lancashire, all-rounder Andrew Flintoff made his first class cricket debut for Lancashire in 1995, and his international Test Match debut for England in 1998 against South Africa.

Nicknamed "Freddie" due to the similarity of his surname to cartoon character Fred Flintstone, Andrew Flintoff was an integral player for England, with his biggest impact being in the Summer of 2005, when he played a major role in regaining the Ashes from Australia.

Born on 6th August 1928 in Pittsburgh, Andy Warhol was a successful magazine and ad illustrator who became a leading artist of the 1960s Pop art movements, his most famous work being the now-iconic paintings of Campbell's soup cans which were first exhibited in 1962.

Andy Warhol died in his sleep from a sudden post-operative cardiac arrhythmia following routine gallbladder surgery in 1987.
