Answer: Henodus

Henodus was a placodont, a group of marine reptiles of the Triassic Period that specialize in eating shellfish.

The rest are nothosaurs and plesiosaurs that were mainly fish hunters.
2. Which of these sea monsters is not a reptile?

Answer: Basilosaurus

Basilosaurus was a prehistoric predatory whale that lived during the Eocene period. At 20-25m long and with a serpentine body, early paleontologists mistook it for a sea reptiles like mosasaurs, thus naming the creature wrongly.

Thalassiodracon is a plesiosaur.
Grippia is an early triassic ichtyosaur.
Opthamolosaurus is a late jurassic ichtyosaur.

Answer: Walking Whale

Ambulocetus was one of the earliest whales. It lived in freshwater and sported powerful webbed back feet for propulsion. Its behavior was like that of a crocodile, waiting in the shallows for unwary prey.
