WATSON was the size of a room during his televised quiz show. During 'Jeopardy', WATSON's servers were in a separate room behind the stage. He wouldn't have fitted if he had tried to go on stage.
10. At the time of his creation, WATSON was intended to be used in which of these areas?

Answer: Medicine

At the time of writing, 2011, WATSON's creation team is working on trying to turn him into a product that can be used in hospitals to help diagnose diseases by studying the symptoms. Doctors are smart, but they only know so many kinds of sicknesses. WATSON could search the symptoms and come up with several possible diseases that the doctor can then act upon.
