The others all finished with a 10-6 record and had a good season. The Patriots won their AFC East with a 14-2 record. In 2009, a season they were known for blowouts, they still improved in 2010 with four more wins.
2. Which receiver caught the most passes in the season?

Answer: Roddy White - Atlanta

The others all caught 86 passes in the season. White of the Falcons caught 115 passes. White and Reggie Wayne of the Colts were the only receivers to catch over 100 passes in the season. In 2009, there were six receivers who reached the 100-mark.
3. Which NFL speedster won the rushing yard title?

Answer: Arian Foster - Houston

The others finished 8th, 9th, and 10th in the league. Foster was the only rusher to top the 1500-yard mark in the season with his 1616 yards. Arian also led the league in rushing touchdowns with 16.
4. Which offensive powerhouse scored the most points in the season?

Answer: New England Patriots

The others were all last place teams in their division. Six teams topped the 400-point mark in the season, but only one team topped 500. The Patriots scored 518 points, averaging 32.3 points per game, compared to 2009 averaging 26.6. Other teams that topped the 400-point mark were the Colts, Chargers, Raiders, Eagles, and Falcons.

The others were all punters. Reed was a Baltimore Raven and took the title with eight picks, and amazingly missed six games in the season. It was the third time that Reed led the league in interceptions. In nine seasons he accumulated 54. Devin McCourty of the Patriots, Troy Polamalu of the Steelers, and the Eagles' Asante Samuel were all runner-ups and had seven picks in 2010.
6. Two quarterbacks reached the 4700-yard plateau for passing yardage. Who led the league in passing yardage?

Answer: Philip Rivers

The others did not reach the 4000-yard mark. Rivers threw 4710 yards for the Chargers. Peyton Manning of the Colts was the other quarterback with 4700 yards. In 2009, only one quarterback threw for more than 4500 yards. It was Matt Schaub of the Texans with 4770 yards from the air.
7. Which team's defense was the stingiest and allowed the fewest points by their opponents?

Answer: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers defensive improved dramatically compared to 2009 when the allowed 324 points scored. In 2010, the led the league by allowing only 232. The Packers defensive finished a close second with 240. The Ravens, Bears, and Falcons rounded out the top five, and were the only other teams to hold their opponents to below 300 points.

Answer: Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks, with their 7-9 record, ranked 31st of 32 teams for their dismal rushing offense. Marshawn Lynch led the team with 573 yards for the entire season.

The others were on the wrong end of the stick, and lost six more games in 2010 compared to their 2009 season. The Buccaneers won a huge seven more games in 2010 with their 10-6 record. Both the Chiefs and Rams' front office are very happy with seeing their teams improve by six wins also.

The Packers provided the season's first shutout in week 8 with their 9-0 win over the Jets. Week 11 saw two shutouts. The Bears put the Dolphins down 16-0, and the Buccaneers defeated the 49ers 21-0. Houston blanked Tennessee 20-0 in week 12, and the Chargers embarrassed the Chiefs 31-0 in week 14.
11. Which quarterback threw the most interceptions in 2010?

Answer: Eli Manning

The others all threw 15 picks in the season. Three quarterbacks threw 20+ interceptions in 2010. Manning of the Giants topped the list with 25, Drew Brees of the Saints threw 22, and Carson Palmer of the Bengals threw 20. Eli's 25 was a new career high for him, breaking his personal record of 20 in 2007.

In 2010, Manning still hit the 4000-yard passing mark for the second time in his career.

The Raiders blasted the Denver Broncos in week 7, 59-14. Strangely enough, Raider quarterback Jason Campbell threw for only 204 yards with two touchdowns. Running back Darren McFadden rushed for 165 yards on 16 carries, an average of 10.3 yards per carry.

He also scored three touchdowns. The 59-14 score was also the score at the end of the third quarter. The Raiders finished the season at 8-8.

Answer: 4

The Broncos fired Eric Studesville after his 1-3 record, replacing him with Josh McDaniels. The Cowboys dumped Wade Phillips after week 8 with only one win, paving the way for Jason Garrett. The Vikings fired Brad Childress after week 10 due to some internal problems and winning only three games. Leslie Frazier took the helm in place of Childress. The 49ers brass fired Mike Singletary before the last game of the season, and moved Jim Tomsula into the spot. The Cleveland Browns wasted no time, firing Eric Mangini one day after the season ended with consecutive 5-11 season records.
14. Which field goal kicker won the scoring title in the season?

Answer: David Akers - Eagles

The others were all running backs. Akers won the crown by just one point over Oakland's Sebastian Janikowski, 143-142. Akers kicked one less field goal than Janikowski and Josh Brown of the Rams, but had more extra points (PATs).

Answer: Chargers

The others all entered the postseason as AFC teams. The Chargers were out, and finished their season 9-7, four losses more than in 2009. The Ravens finished the season at 12-4, the Jets 11-5, and the Colts went 10-6. The Raiders, who swept every team in their own division, did not get in either.
16. Which player crossed the goal for a touchdown the most times by any means?

Answer: Arian Foster - Texans

Foster led the league in rushing with 1616 yards on 327 carries for a 4.9 yards per carry average, and rushed for 16 touchdowns. He also caught 66 passes including two touchdowns in the season for the Texans.
17. Which kicker had the strongest boot, and had the best punting average for the season?

Answer: Mat McBriar - Cowboys

The others were all field goal kickers. McBriar punted an average of 47.9 yards with every punt in the season. He and Shane Lechler (47.0) of the Raiders were the only kickers to average 47 yards or better. Lechler led the league in 2009 with a 51.1 average, and McBriar improved from his previous season by 2.8 yards.
18. Which team's so-called defense and special teams allowed the most total points from their opponents in the season?

Answer: Denver Broncos

The others allowed between 300 and 310 points, a good defensive stand. The Broncos defense and special teams were napping by allowing 471 points in the season. They scored only 344 offensive points and were upside down. Putting the Detroit Lions' previous seasons aside, the Broncos defense allowed more points than anyone else, going back to the 2001 Indianapolis Colts who allowed 486.

Answer: DeSean Jackson - Eagles

The others were all defensive linemen, and all had 11 sacks in the season. Jackson caught 47 passes for 1056 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 22.5 yards per catch. He also rushed for another touchdown. Jackson and Mike Wallace of the Steelers were the only two receivers above the 20-yard mark.
20. Which monster tallied up the most sacks in the season?

Answer: DeMarcus Ware - Cowboys

The others all had 11.5 sacks in the season, but did not rank in the top five. It was the second time that DeMarcus led the league in sacks. He plunked 15.5. In six seasons he totaled 80 sacks for the Cowboys.
On the other side of the bruising, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was the leading 'plunkee' in the season, being sacked 52 times, 12 more than runner-up Joe Flacco of the Ravens.
