Answer: Nap Lajoie

Lajoie batted .426 in 1901 to be the first to the benefit of the Philadelphia Athletics. Ed Delahanty batted .410 in 1899 with Philadelphia of the National League and it was his last .400 season.
2. How many players slugged out 65 or more home runs in the 1990s?

Answer: 2

Only two in the likes of Mark McGwire who hit 70 in 1998 and then 65 in 1999, and along with Sammy Sosa who hit 66 in 1998.
3. How many times in the 20th Century did the Washington Senators win a World Series?

Answer: 1

The city move in 1972 did not help the franchise. They appeared in only one World Series, that being with Walter Johnson in 1924.

Answer: Chicago White Stockings

Chicago went 52-14 to win the eight team division ahead of 2nd place St.Louis by 6 games. Ross Barnes led the team by batting .429. Both Cap Anson and Paul Hines hit two home runs each to lead their team in that category. The White Stockings hit only 8 total home runs that year.
