5. In the CFL when two or more players touch a pass from scrimmage, who is credited with the reception and the yardage?

Answer: The final player to touch the ball

From the rulebook: The receiver is credited only with the number of passes caught and total yards gained. Where a pass is touched by two receivers the player making the final catch will be credited.
6. If a kickoff in the CFL goes out of bounds, which of the options below is not available to the receiving team?

7. Which option below is not available to the scoring team after they have scored a safety touch?

Answer: The opponent can scrimmage from the opponents 35 yard line

From the rule book: After a safety touch, the scoring team may elect to have the ball next put into play as follows: (a) By scrimmaging the ball at its own 35 yard line, or (b) By kicking off from its own 35 yard line, or (c) By requiring the team scored against to kick off from its 35 yard line.
8. True or false: barring a penalty the only thing a team can do if they score a touchdown is kick-off to their opponent from their own 35 yard-line?

Answer: George Reed

13. How far was the longest CFL field goal kicked in the 20th century?

Answer: 60 yards

Dave Ridgway kicked a 60 yarder in a Saskatchewan uniform on September 6th, 1987.

Answer: 120 yards

Neil Beaumont returned an interception for the BC Lions 120 yards on October 12th, 1963. Believe it or not, when the end zones were 25 yards deep, theoretically one could have gone 134 yards! You'd need oxygen after that one.
17. Which player below does not figure in the 'longest' punt return in CFL history?

Answer: Henry Williams

Although Henry 'Gizmo' Williams owns most of the CFL punt return records, Ken Hinton (BC September 24th, 1977) has the longest at 130 yards. Boyd Carter and Dave Mann combined for a 131 yard return on August 22nd, 1958 for Toronto, Carter going 15 yards before lateraling to Mann in the end zone who went the remaining 116!

Answer: 9-8

Edmonton beat Montreal 9-8 in 1975 in the snow at McMahon Stadium, Calgary. Toronto beat Winnipeg 13-0 in 1950 and St. Hyacinthe beat Hamiton 7-6 in 1944 - there are other low scorers, but when Toronto beat Winnipeg 4-3 in 1937, that ranks as the lowest ever.
