Grover Cleveland "Pete" Alexander was a Hall of Fame pitcher for several National League teams from 1911-1930, winning 373 games along the way, tying Christy Mathewson's career mark. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1938.

Carlton "Pudge" Fisk was a Hall of Fame catcher for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox for 24 seasons from 1969-1993. He caught a record 2226 games during his ML career. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2000.
