Ben Foster was born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire in 1983. He started his career at Racing Club Warwick, before securing a deal with Stoke City inj 2001. Stints at Manchester United and Birmingham City followed before he finally joined West Brom in June 2012.

Claudio Yacob was born in 1987 and played for Racing Club in Argentina. He joined West Brom in 2012 and instantly forged a formidable partnership with Youssouf Mulumbu, an integral contribution to a season in which West Brom finished 8th. In an interview with "The Guardian" newspaper, he said he enjoyed playing guitar and painting when not playing football.

Scott Sinclair played for all the clubs listed as possible options, but joined West Brom on loan from Manchester City. He struggled to break into the Chelsea first team and joined Swansea City in 2010 where he blossomed into a fantastic young talent. He then joined Manchester City where his chances were limited and was loaned out to West Brom in 2013 where he struggled to break into the first team.

Born in 1982 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Chris Brunt joined West Brom in 2007. He became the permanent captain of West Bromwich Albion in February 2011. He wore the number 11 shirt.

Victor Anichebe spent his youth career at Everton before joining West Bromwich Albion in 2013. He left on good terms at Everton stating he would "always be an Everton supporter". His contribution to West Brom's 2013-14 season was minimal, but he did score against Liverpool and Chelsea earning his team two draws in the process.

Morgan Amalfitano was born in 1985 and started his career at Sedan in Ligue 2. Spells at Lorient and Marseille followed before he was loaned out to West Brom for the 2013-14 season. He became an instant hero as his goal against Manchester United sealed West Brom's first win at Old Trafford in 34 years.

Matej Vydra was born in 1992. He joined Udinese in 2010 and had loan spells at Club Brugge and Watford, before joining West Brom in his third loan spell. He was given the number 20 shirt and scored his first goal against Hull City on 21st December 2013.

Youssouf Mulumbu was born in 1987 and was in the Paris Saint-Germain setup from 2004-2009, before joining West Brom in 2009 on loan. He later secured a permanent deal with the club and in doing so he became a favourite at the club, winning both the Fan's and Player's Player of the Year award for his contributions in the 2010-11 season.

West Bromwich Albion broke their transfer record to sign attacking midfielder Stephane Sessegnon from Sunderland on transfer deadline day 31st August 2013. He had stints at Le Mans and PSG before moving to the Premier League in January 2011 to play for Sunderland.
