Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'ER': Who are the first and last listed in the title credits?

Answer: Anthony Edwards and Eriq La Salle

Edwards has always been first {listed;} La Salle has always been last. Wyle has gone from fourth-listed to second with the leaving of Clooney and Julianna Margulies. And as of February 2001, Edwards, La Salle, and Wyle are the only original main title cast members remaining. Further trivia about these three: their character names, Mark, Peter, and John, are names of three of Jesus' apostles.
2. 'Star Trek: Voyager': Who has always been listed last in the title credits?

Answer: Garrett Wang

Wang (Ensign Kim) has always been listed last. Ryan joined at the beginning of the 4th season. Russ and Picardo have always been in the middle of the credits.
3. 'The West Wing': Who is first listed?

Answer: Rob Lowe

Probably because he was arguably the most recognized actor amongst the group.
4. 'Star Trek': Initially, William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy were the only ones listed in the title credits. What actor was added later?

Answer: DeForest Kelley

The first pilot had a Dr. Boyce, played by John Hoyt. The second pilot, shown as the third episode of the series, had a Dr. Piper (Paul Fix). But in all other first season episodes, Kelley played Dr. McCoy. It wasn't until the second season that he was added to the title credits.
5. 'The Brady Bunch': who was listed last in the opening credits?

Answer: Ann B. Davis

Davis played Alice Nelson, the Brady's maid. Lookinland and Olsen played the youngest children, Bobby and Cindy. Melvin played Sam the Butcher, Alice's boyfriend, but was never listed in the title credits.
6. 'Charlie's Angels': although this show had a cast of five, only four were listed in the credits (the 'Angels' and David Doyle (Bosley)). The title character, Charles 'Charlie' Townsend, was voiced by this actor.

Answer: John Forsythe

Charlie always talked with the Angels only through a speakerphone.
7. Of the four 'Star Trek' series produced as of February 2001, which had a female cast member listed first?

Answer: Star Trek: Voyager

Naturally, since Voyager has a female captain, Janeway (Kate Mulgrew).
8. 'LA Law': who appeared last in the title credits?

Answer: Richard Dysart

9. 'Soap': This actor was listed first in the closing credits in most of the episodes.

Answer: Jimmy Baio

This was because the cast was listed alphabetically. If he was in an episode, Baio was listed first. If he wasn't, it was either Billy Crystal or Diana Canova.
10. 'M*A*S*H': By the last season, almost all of the regular actors were listed in the opening credits. In the last season, who was the last listed?

Answer: William Christopher

William Christopher played Father Mulcahy in all but the pilot episode. George Morgan played Mulcahy in the pilot.
