Answer: George Best

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, George Best (May 22nd 1946 - November 26th 2005) was regarded as one of the most gifted players of his era. He signed for the English side Manchester United as a teenager and became a prolific goalscorer. However, Best became known for his pop star lifestyle and his dalliances with a number of beauty queens.

Many observers believed that this, and his fondness for alcohol, meant he never reached his full footballing potential. Best's death was due to kidney failure directly related to his alcoholism. Cookstown was the brand name of a firm that manufactured pork products.

It was based (naturally) in the town of Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

"It's got a trunk up front where most cars have their motors" said Hoffman, showing the viewers the trunk. "And in the back, where most cars have their trunks, we have (looks inside to find nothing there, apparently) a trunk, a large trunk". In fact the engine was under a shelf in the rear trunk.
A year later, Hoffman made 'The Graduate' and went on to a glittering career that included Oscars for 'Kramer vs Kramer' (1979) and 'Rainman' (1988).
