Established the year in which the only non-consecutive second term was begun (by Grover Cleveland) and while Arizona was still a territory, The University of Arizona was chartered in 1885. Also chartered in that same year was the Tempe Normal School which would become Arizona's second university 73 years later in 1958. Northern Arizona University completed the trio in 1966.
