A final value fee is what a seller must pay to eBay after the item is sold. These percentages can vary depending on the category of item, and price it was sold at. An insertion fee is a fee that is paid to list the item being sold.
2. When selling a shirt that is 1 pound or less, what is the typical (and usually cheapest) way to ship the item through the US postal service?

Answer: First class mail

First class mail is the cheapest way to ship a non-breakable item such as shirts, letters, etc. Flat rate and priority mail are more expensive.
Shirts are not included in media mail.

Answer: 1995

September 3rd 1995 is when eBay first started out. The first site was called auction web, until the name changed to what we now know - eBay.

A broken laser pointer was sold to a collector of broken lasers! The owner of eBay even contacted the winning bidder to ask if he knew it was broken before the sale closed.

You must have a paypal account to buy on eBay. eBay used to accept credit cards, but now it is solely linked through a buyer's paypal account. This makes eBay more secure, but also accounts for paypal fees for sellers as well.

Answer: Active Firearms

Actual, active firearms can't be listed, but certain firearm parts and accessories are permitted.
7. Can you sell to countries other than your own on eBay?

Answer: Yes

eBay has a global shipping program which allows sellers to sell to other countries. The global shipping program allows each area to have a designated place where all of the items that are sold are sent,then are re-packaged and shipped out to the correct country.

Answer: California

San Jose California is where the headquarters for eBay are located.
9. Does eBay have holidays in which it closes down?

Answer: No

eBay does not close for public holidays, meaning that people can buy and sell anytime, anywhere. They will have longer shipping times, however, if an item is purchased during a holiday in which local post offices are closed.
10. Who is the founder of eBay?

Answer: Pierre Omidyar

Pierre is a French american entrepreneur, who has made billions through websites like eBay. He served as chairman from 1998 to 2015. He became a billionaire at the age of 31!
