Lees-McRae College is located near the Blueridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain, NC. It has its roots in Presbyterian beginnings around 1850, and formerly started in 1899-1900. Arguably, the most famous alumni of Lees-McRae is either Thomas Ferebee who was a bombardier aboard the Enola Gay or Roy Lassiter, soccer player on US National Team.
