Honey Bunny was Bugs Girlfriend in various cartoon/comic BOOKS, but I don't think she was ever in any of the animated cartoons.

Lola Bunny is who you are thinking of. She was introduced in that movie Space Jam during the 1990s, and has pretty much replaced Honey Bunny. She also stars in Baby Looney Tunes.
