Two major instances of players continuing on from being a "Scab" NFL player in 1987. The first was Eugene Seale of the then Houston Oilers. His play garnered recognition from the coaching staff, that he stayed with the team and kept in the NFL for seven years. The other major one was Sean Payton. Sean didn't stay on any roster after being removed after the strike was over, but he does have a Super Bowl ring for coaching the New Orleans Saints to victory in the 2009 season.
