What is the origin of the Australian term mollydooker to describe a left-handed person? Presumably the end is related to calling one's hands dukes, but where does the molly come from?

The definition comes in two parts dooker refers to duke or dook meaning hands and molly seems to comes from either mauley meaning hands or molly meaning effeminate male.
