Having won his last race at 53 years old, Luigi Fagioli holds the record for the oldest Formula One driver to win a race, and was the only winning Formula One driver born in the 19th century.
Italian driver Luigi Fagioli was 53 years and 22 days old when he won the 1951 French Grand Prix on Alfa Romeo. He shared the victory with Argentinian Juan Manuel Fangio. It was first F1 race where two drivers were credited with a Grand Prix win after sharing a car.
