In 1999, gamer Billy Mitchell claimed a perfect score on the classic video arcade game, Pac-Man. That was a total of 3,333,360 points.
A decade later, that score and others in different games were called into question. It was suggested that emulation software was used to falsify his scores, which were subsequently invalidated. Legal action followed, with Guinness World Records restoring Mitchell's Donkey Kong and Pac-Man records.
