Henry's Pocket is a special little fold on the base of the ear on many animals like bats, weasels, and cats. Scientists are not sure exactly what the fold does, but it is possible to help the animal hear higher-frequency sounds by reducing lower-frequency interference.

The feature is named after Joseph Henry who was a renowned scientist at the time of the naming of the feature.
