The artist known as Prince, or formerly known as Prince, or Symbol...

Prince recorded the content for Camille in 1986 wanting to release it without acknowledging he had anything to do with the album. He used voice modulation to increase the pitch of his voice to sound more feminine and gave it the name Camille. Prince never released the album for reasons unknown though some have suggested it was because Warner Bros did not want to release an album without tributing it to him.
