The record is held by Sir David Attenborough. The British naturalist has been presenting programmes about the Earth and its flora and fauna for around 70 years. He started working with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in 1952. Sir David is the recipient of two knighthoods, from Queen Elizabeth II in 1985 and King Charles III (Knight Grand Cross) in 2022.
