With a name like SPUDS (Synthetic Personnel Using Dialectic Substitution) you know that potatoes have to be involved! The study is done to improve the Wi-Fi inflight the Boeing company uses bags of potatoes to substitute for passengers when trying to find weak spots in the Wi-Fi. Brings new meaning to couch potato!
