Twitterpated were feelings that Elon had about Twitter before he decided to buy them...and not buy them...and then change their name to X!

Actually, twitterpated means to be smitten with romantic feelings of love! Oxford lists obsessed and infatuated. The OED also has a second definition of foolish and scatterbrained.

Maybe my observation of Musk is not too far off...
