Convicts to Fremantle in Western Australia.

This date marked the end of some 80 years of penal transportation from the United Kingdom to Australia. This particular voyage carried 269 convicts.
Between 1788 and 1868 more than 162,000 convicts had been transported, changing Australia forever.
