In human anatomy, how does the sagittal plane divide the body?

The sagittal plane divides the body into left and right sides from the crown of the head down. The coronal Plane is perpendicular to the sagittal plane dividing the body front to back. Finally, the transverse plane divides the body from top to bottom.

Interestingly, the word sagittal comes from an arrow in Latin, which makes sense if the human body is turned into an arrow with our head as the point and our feet as the fletchings.
