In what movie was there a blooper that showed Roman Soldiers wearing Rolex watches?

Roman soldiers were wearing watches in 'Spartacus', but I'm not sure about the make.

It allegedly occurs during the chariot race scene in Ben Hur, but the make wasn't specified.

When the Trumpeters are beginning to play at the beginning of the Chariot Race you can see that one of the trumpeters is wearing a watch. [I've looked at this scene - frozen on pause - and I can't see anyone wearing a wristwatch. I think that this story originates from the old silent film version.]

I just watched the famed chariot race in both versions of Ben Hur and did not see a watch. I did see someone in 20th century clothes run to the scene of the big crash in the silent version.

IMDB states that in "Spartacus" (1960) Tony Curtis' character Antoninus is wearing a Rolex in one scene. Curtis played a slave turned soldier, fighting the Romans.
