What are the "Keds and tube socks" that Loelle wears in the well-known song?

Keds were the first sneaker, introduced in 1917 by the U.S. Rubber Co. They were bought by Stride Rite in 1979. But they still make them as Keds. Keds were THE shoes to have when I was a kid way back in the 60s. And tube socks are socks that have no heel so that you can put them on any which way and they eventually form to your foot.

Keds were named peds as a first preference (latin for foot = pedis) but other products' names were too similar, so they used a K instead.

(from encyclopaedia of corporate names worldwide by Adrian Room).
