"I spent 95% of my money on women, fast cars and booze. The other 5% I wasted." Can somebody tell me the exact quote and who said it?

The quote from ex Manchester United and Northern Ireland footballer George Best : "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."

When asked recently, "Is it true that you wasted your money on drink, fast cars and women?", he replied, "Ninety per cent went on drink, fast cars and women. I wasted the rest."

Actually, New York Mets pitcher Tug McGraw is deemed to have uttered this quote. It went something like, "I spent 90% of the money I earned on women, Irish whiskey and fast cars...the other 10% I wasted." This after he'd been given a significant salary raise to $75,000. Of course, the statement has all the marks of being apocryphal.
