Originally, it opened with Rock Around The Clock by Bill Halley and the Comets.

Then it changed to Happy Days by Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox.

The "Happy Days" song that replaced "Rock Around the Clock" was written by Gimbel and Fox, but sung by the pop group Pratt & McClain
