The denisity of pure water is 1000Kg/cubic metre (at between 4 and 5 degrees celsius)
There are 2.2 lbs to the Kg
30 mL to the fluid ounce (U.S. regulation 21CFR101.9(b)(5)(viii)) although this is less precise than other official measures (28.41mL imperial or 29.57 US) but its easier to work with.
There are 1000 Litres in a cubic metre
Now use a little mathematics. I come up with the answer 0.066lbs/floz or 0.7oz/floz. Willing to be corrected on the sums.
I used about 5 websites to glean all of this so pardon me if I don't provide links.
