What was Newman's apartment number on 'Seinfield'? Did he live on the same floor as Jerry?

Newman may have moved apartments (in one other ep he's in 5F), but in this case the apartment itself has moved. Jerry's in 5A, Kramer's across the hall in 5B. But next to his is 5E? As noted in the nit, when Jerry visited Newman in 5E, Jerry said to himself "I really enjoy these little visits to the east wing.", indicating that 5E was in another wing and not just across the hall from 5A.
