What is the oldest capital city in the Americas?

Mexico City is probably the oldest city in North America, as a continuation of the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán, founded in about 1325. Santa Fe, New Mexico is the oldest capital city in the U.S. (Acoma, New Mexico is the oldest continuously occupied city in the U.S.).

I can't seem to find a definitive answer for Central America, but it seems like Mexico City takes the title (dating back to 1325).
