Our bird feeders bring out the worst and best of things. The squirrels have learned how to get lid off of one of the feeders and dump contents on ground so they can ingest more quickly. If they don't do it the mother raccoon does for her babies........ Variety of birds visit but are at times frightened off by other animals. Some of the squirrels are very comical as they do all kinds of twists and turns. It does provide entertainment of a different kind.. Reply #18377. Jun 11 18, 12:24 PM |

It's now been a week since one of my neighbors who's become a friend had a psychotic break due to an undiagnosed and untreated urinary tract infection. She now suffers from a number of psychiatric conditions, including multiple personality disorder. When she calls herself "Tai" (unsure of the spelling), she becomes VERY angry and throws things and yells. They just sent her home where she lives alone and prescribed some medications and provided no other support or provider to treat her. The police and fire dept. came at least 4-5 times once she was home, but said they couldn't take her to a medical facility unless she agreed or threatened her own life or someone else's. I can't believe there is no better way to treat someone in that much need. Hopefully she'll now get some support because her lawyer took her to the ER with her permission. They were going to send her home again until she threw something at a nurse which triggered their placing her in a locked ward, and I assume she's getting some psychiatric help and not just more medications.
