I wouldn't mind getting a request to post here as a Daily Challenge. It would make a welcome relief from all the challenges relating to the category of Sports that I have been getting lately. Getting a new ceiling in the carport tomorrow -- yay! The old drywall was peeling off. In preparation, I sent my son up in the attic this past weekend to make sure there weren't any boxes sitting over the carport. He went to move one and stepped on a plank that wasn't attached to the beams and fell through. Luckily, he grabbed the beams so he didn't fall to the carport, but the plank and the drywall did -- nice dents on my car. So now I truly DO need a new ceiling in the carport. Reply #18394. A few weeks ago, I saw two male mallard ducks fighting over a female (who was present); it was a real brawl! They were rolling around on the ground and crashed into the patio door below mine (I live in an apartment complex). Eventually, one of the males conceded defeat and flew away, while the victor strutted around, quacking like he knew who the real man was. :-) It was fun to watch; isn't nature crazy sometimes?
