I hate it when I am supposed to do a quiz in Timed Quiz mode but I don't notice and then I trundle along doing it as an untimed quiz! Reply #18421. Jun 15 18, 1:26 AM |

This is for the Medium Challenge which I purchased today. I only had to play one game today in order to be able to make a purchase - serendipity when two of the originals played into each other. Doesn't happen often, but what a nice treat when it does. Easy: "You're in luck! Score doesn't matter. Simply play in the Fill Me In game today." Medium: "Play in an hourly game of Fill Me In and score at least 636 points." Now, if only I can knock out my Difficult Challenge. Reply #18422. Jun 15 18, 5:36 AM |

Remember Paul the Octopus who correctly 'predicted' so many world cup games in 2008? Now we have a pig who is aiming to do it https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-44493221 Reply #18423. Jun 15 18, 3:29 PM |

I don't have a story to share today so here's a joke instead. Q: Why did the blind man cross the road? A: Because he couldn't see what was on the other side! Reply #18424. Jun 16 18, 12:18 AM |

It's been raining here without stopping, which is good as we had had weeks without rain. I like stevetastic's avatar. :) Reply #18425. Jun 16 18, 12:24 AM |

Yesterday's soccer game between Spain and Portugal was really good. It was the best match so far of the World Cup. Reply #18427. Jun 16 18, 1:17 AM |

My uncle has a country place that no one knows about. He says it used to be a farm before the Motor Law, and on Sundays I elude the eyes and hop the Turbine Freight, to far outside the Wire where my white-haired uncle waits. Reply #18428. Jun 16 18, 5:13 AM |

This is my first Share a Story challenge, I don't have a story either. I do have good news, I hope, my son may have found a summer job today. Yay. Bad news is the surgery I had 3 wks ago went so well, until 4 days ago. But hey, first weekend with no rain and I hope to get my tomatoes planted tomorrow. :) Reply #18432. Jun 16 18, 4:29 PM |

Finally — we’re moving this week from North Carolina back home to Ohio. Sadly, our sweet little dog won’t be coming with us; we had to put her to sleep yesterday. She was almost 17 years old. We miss her so much. Reply #18433. Jun 16 18, 6:03 PM |

Sorry to hear about your dog Barbara. As an animal lover, I totally understand how much it hurts to lose a pet. Reply #18434. Jun 16 18, 8:29 PM |

I lost my dog Avery on May 29th. He had a tumor and it was growing so fast. At the age of 13 we didn't think he would survive surgery and his doctor said that a tumor that grew that quickly would probably return. I miss him. Reply #18435. Jun 16 18, 9:43 PM |

Chauncey. People sometimes can't think what to post on the official story thread but I think your joke will 'serve'. Do you have another one to 'lob' in? Reply #18438. Jun 17 18, 2:17 PM |
