Dear lonely-lady, It is very kind of you to think of me, I do appreciate it. I had a great day at work today, my first. I think I am really going to enjoy this job! The bookstore is an extensive one, the people I work with are capable and very nice, the customers are a pleasure to help. Also, the hours, at least so far, are compatible with my first job. There are a lot of things to remember, I spend a lot of time on my feet, and I'm being taught/trained to do some things I haven't done before, but so far, it seems like just the job for me! I've been very fortunate/blessed--it is such a relief to have a job such as this when I was getting so anxious. Thank you, lonely-lady, for your interest and kind posts. During a recent stay in hospital, items I chose on the daily menu were refused as "not allowable on your diet".
