I had cataract surgery on my right eye on February 2nd and I'm having the left one done on May 24th. The between time has been a little awkward as I still need to wear my glasses just for reading, but the now good eye doesn't like that. It will be wonderful seeing everything so much brighter and being able to see the quizzes clearer, hopefully I will be able to increase my speed when I can see the questions better. Reply #21105. I have an adorable little boy (cat) who is full of mischief and his antics keep me from getting bored. My stepdaughters put their handbags on the floor, open, when they come just to see him unload them. Has anyone ever had a preacher call out someone's name from the pulpit because they weren't singing the hymns? Happened to hubby--he can't carry a tune in a bucket, has macular degeneration and can't read the small print in the hymnal, both good reasons for not singing. I can't believe the number of times I'm sure I had the correct answer, but was marked wrong. A Google search proves that I was indeed wrong. May the Fourth! A shout out to all the Star Wars fans out there. I still remember seeing the first film the week after it opened at the Meridian Mall in East Lansing, MI. East Lansing was always a great town to see blockbusters in because the surrounding area was geared up to handle the influx of students to Michigan State University each fall. That meant that summers there had a sleepy feel to them. Everything (including movie theaters) had a bit of an empty feel. Plus the large number of academics that lived in and around the area made for a cultured community when contrasted with mostly rural mid-Michigan. I went back a week later and dragged a lot of the neighborhood kids that I'd grown up with to see it as well. We all agreed, the best summer film we'd ever seen. Reply #21115. May 04 19, 12:45 AM |

May 02 19 njbruce A Matter of Timing Awarded to a player who scores 10/10 in the Piece of Cake easy game precisely within the half second range of 40.00 and 40.50 seconds. Funny thing about that one. I was trying for a daily challenge of getting 10 of 10 within 40 seconds in the Easy Game. At least I got this unusual badge for my effort. I admit that one of my drawbacks is my speed.
