Just a thought on electric cars, wonder how many more animals, and indeed people, will be run over because they didn't hear them coming? Reply #36284. May 28 24, 10:11 AM |

Some heavy thunderstorms in the area today. Lots of broken branches and downed trees and power outages. But quite cool for late May after the storms passed, though. More such storms are in the forecast for the next few days. Reply #36287. May 28 24, 3:34 PM |

I have been doing major spring cleaning, I’ve donated some things, given things away, and thrown out 5 bags stuffed with junk. It feels so good! Reply #36290. May 28 24, 8:45 PM |

It's too bad that very few people ever read these things. So here's a kid joke: Why is the sand at the beach wet? Because the sea wee'd. See ya next time. ° Reply #36292. May 28 24, 11:35 PM |

I'm reading a book about the production histories of the films in "The Godfather" trilogy. Fascinating stuff. Coppola sure put up with a lot to get them made his way. Some of the things the studio execs wanted him to do are almost hilarious, in retrospect. They must have seemed intrusive and scary at the time; and it's to Copola's enduring credit that he resisted. The first two films are masterpieces, and the third is pretty good. Coppola made his most glaring mistake with it when he cast his own neophyte actress daughter in one of the leads as Michael Coreleone's daughter. Reply #36295. May 29 24, 7:26 AM |

I have finally made it to the 12th chapter of the Ascension Quest. Let's see how I do finishing getting my warrior ready for the epic conclusion. I have been told this chapter takes a very long time to complete. The journey has been fun so far so I don't mind. Have a great day everyone! Reply #36296. May 29 24, 10:58 AM |

Bought a 2021 Green Subaru Outback Limited Edition last night ... I am one who holds onto my cars til the wheels fall off! My other current cars are VW Jettas ... both 2012s... one gasoline fueled SE and the other a diesel powered Sportwagen! My wife has been on me for a few years to get a Subaru for their safety features. Reply #36297. May 29 24, 12:33 PM |

We had a very stressful Memorial Day weekend in Northwest Arkansas. Tornadoes and very high winds produced lots of damage and some deaths. Prayers go out to all who lost love ones and friends and lost their homes. Reply #36300. May 29 24, 5:00 PM |
