So it seems my back problems are due to what the doctor called 'Spinal Slippage' or Spondylolisthesis where one of the vertebra slips forwards, causing pressure on the nerves. It took an X-ray to reveal this and it explains the pains I've been getting in my left leg & foot for months. I've had MRI and CT scans so just waiting to see what can be done about it though I'm told there's a wait of up to 28 weeks for an appointment unless I want to go private. Reply #36634. My baby (28) left home. He is mentally challenged, a really nice and friendly guy, no physical handicap but inside a baby. A place for him was offered to us. We made it a beautiful room and now we have to get used that we can't look for him forever. After all: we are all getting older, he needed younger people as a change, it is close to his working place and every body seemed to be nice. But we all got to get used to it. Reply #36637. Every now and then reality intrudes into these messages which we share with total strangers. Martin (a couple of messages ago) has severe back problems - been there, worn the t-shirt. Constant pain is just debilitating, so let's hope they can do something for you. And Heidi (most recent message) now has quite a void in her life, but she knows she's done the right thing.
