While the replacement of low-ranked quizzes is a continuing goal, preparation of extra quizzes to introduce variety for the tourists is also important now that the Bus Ride is well-established. Some tourists have been around the world over ten times, and even nice quizzes get repetitive. The lowest-ranked quiz currently used for the tour has a ranking that is roughly in the top third of all quizzes, so replacement is not an urgent matter, but we would still like to have new quizzes of a suitable quality to use as replacements, to provide a bit of diversity for those players who have played every day since the beginning, and who have probably memorised the answers to the current quizzes.
If you create a new quiz on a Bus Ride country, get it placed online, and have it place within a reasonable ranking, it may be rotated in to provide a more diverse program. Should your quiz manage a higher ranking than the current entry, it could become the permanent fixture, waiting for a future challenger. As an added bonus, we have modified the ratings system to give all quizzes in our rotation a ratings bump.
Feel free to use this thread to also "claim" a country so that you don't duplicate someone else's effort, and make sure to follow along with our later posts and updates to make sure that everything is in order. We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!

Senegal is definitely the new Bhutan! I am keeping an eye on all of them, to see which ends up being most suitable for a Bus Ride spare. With today's rankings, Comoros and Ethiopia have reserve quizzes, and can be removed from the list. Reply #1125. Aug 26 13, 1:05 PM |

A whole bunch of quizzes have been rotated in. In a number of cases, they are not the highest-ranked quiz available, but have been rotated so that those players who haven't yet missed a day (there are three who have been on the bus since Day 1!) can get a bit of variety. The replacements will be in place for a tour, and evaluated after they have been visited. There are a couple of new quizzes which have lower rankings than I would like to see, but which also seem to me to look like good Bus Ride quizzes. If the tourists disagree, they will be rotated out again. All current quizzes with a ranking of over 40,000 do have a more highly-ranked alternative, so are not in urgent need of being replaced, despite the automatic display showing them in red. In several cases, the one they replaced had a three-digit ranking, and will certainly be rotated in again after the response to these has been evaluated. Reply #1126. Aug 30 13, 11:02 PM |

I've just finished writing a quiz on Burkina Faso if the Bus Ride is interested. Also, I see Vanuatu is on the list. I've been back about 12 pages and over a year but didn't see anyone claim it. The Bus Ride is interested in everything! Burkina Faso has a reserve quiz, but it's not all that highly ranked, and a new one would be eagerly considered. And any country listed at the top has no reserve at all (that can be used - some of them do have the original quiz used to set the Bus Ride up, but whose unsatisfactory nature is what led to the Bus Ride Renewal project).
