The show can be very funny at times but my biggest problem is with it is that it is on way too much at least where I live. I could watch the show six times a day on the weekdays and sometimes you might see the same episode in only a few days. The show does have funny jokes, crude but still funny, but there is no plot at all and I think the show is a little overhyped. You can't really compare this to a show like "The Simpsons" or even "South Park", those shows actually have stories that they keep with for an episode, "Family Guy" is more like random jokes like "Robot Chicken", that's not a bad thing you just can't really compare it to a show like "The Simpsons". I love the show. The whole point of it is to mock fun at society. However, everybody can be offended somehow or another throughout the show. I prefer it more than the Simpsons and South Park though. I have honestly tried to like Family Guy, and see what others see, but I don't. It is not quite as disgusting as South Park. That's the best I can do. I don't even think The Simpsons are in the same catagory. I can watch them, without being nauseated. Reply #10. Aug 15 08, 10:51 PM |
