Not a big Eastwood fan, but I would go for 'The Eiger Sanction' because I am a huge fan of the author who wrote the book that the movie is based on. Reply #2. Dec 19 10, 12:46 PM |

I'm also more of a fan of his later work, especially his directing. I would go for Gran Torino as well though. Reply #5. Dec 19 10, 10:38 PM |

Pick just 1 favorite out of all the films Clint Eastwood has made? This will be next to impossible since he's one of the best actors ever born, in my opinion! I've seen most of his movies, even his older ones. I think I'd have to say that "Gran Torino" is probably my favorite. His acting in this was just outstanding. I also loved "Million Dollar Baby" so that would come in second. He's made so many good movies that it's so hard to choose! My dad was also a big Eastwood fan. He liked his Westerns & his Dirty Harry roles best. Reply #7. Dec 19 10, 11:42 PM |

I agree that "Bridges of Madison County" is one of his greatest performances, but after watching it once, I have never been able to watch it again. The film rips my heart and soul to shreds; it's too painful to watch for me. Reply #9. Dec 20 10, 11:54 AM |

Hi, Postie! You know, I consider myself to be a big Eastwood fan, but I'm embarrassed to say that I've never seen "The Eiger Sanction." However, I did recently buy it on DVD and plan to watch to it very soon! Reply #10. Dec 20 10, 12:03 PM |

I recently saw Absolute Power again after not having seen it for years. Not one of the first Eastwood movies you would think of, but an interesting story and a good cast. I just picked up Gran Torino on DVD and am looking forward to watching it. Reply #14. Dec 28 10, 6:57 PM |

My favourite Clint Eastwood role is Rowdy Yates in TV's 'Rawhide'. The role he should never have taken? That of Pardner in 'Paint Your Wagon'. Eastwood may be a good director and a decent actor, but he's no singer! Reply #15. Dec 29 10, 11:56 AM |

Clint Eastwood is my all time favourite actor and director. It's really hard to pick just one movie but I think that The Outlaw Josie Wales was brilliant. It will be a very sad day indeed when he is no longer with us, as there is no one out there who could replace him. Reply #17. Dec 30 10, 9:02 AM |

I watched him make Magnum Force. They were filming at a Peir 1 Imports at 1 A.M. in San Francisco. They made us stand across the street but you could see the action in the store and all the gals went nuts when he walked out. Reply #18. Dec 30 10, 10:08 AM |
