I think she made the right choice for her.

Hell, if I was writing the end of the script, Andie would get to have her cake and eat it, too. Blaine was a babe, and Duckie was the quintessential nice guy. I would choose Duckie because he is cool. But I think Andie made the right choice choosing Blaine for herself. She and Duckie had been friends for years, and even though someone can suddenly fall in love with their friend, I do not think that would happen in the case of Andie and Duckie. Reply #3.
