I watched The Empire Strikes Back yesterday. It's my favorite movie probably--I watch it at least twice a year, and that's the only movie that I know I'll watch not only every year, but twice. I watch it on 2006 DVDs, widescreen VHS, even pan-and-scan VHS, just not any of the special editions. (Oddly, both of my widescreen tapes have broken at some point--not Star Wars or Jedi, only Empire. Thankfully, YouTube has some excellent repair videos, and both tapes broke right at the beginning of the spool so I didn't lose any of the movie.) I also got out my Master Replicas lightsabers to swing around. Unfortunately, I didn't take the batteries out of the blue one from the last time I used it and one had leaked acid. The good news is, lemon juice, baking soda, water, scrubbing, and several hours of drying later, I had a fully functioning lightsaber again. Reply #1. May 05 16, 2:10 PM |
