The Challenge:

One day - when was it? Was it just recently or many years ago?
You have no idea how you got here. All you know is you were searching for something. Then, you were asked your name and a password? and that password was obviously correct for something, because, suddenly, you were here.
You dimly remember a voice telling you that since you are a seeker, you would have to start your journey at the very beginning. And then you woke up, in this small hamlet, clutching a letter you could not open. It was sealed and there was no way to break the seal.
You don't know whether the village has a name - the locals just call it the village. And there's the shore, the fields and, of course, the sea, where the fishers used to set sail every morning.
Used to... until today. You were the only one to stay back, it being your turn to tend the fires in the houses, mend some nets and make sure the chickens were fed. Tomorrow someone else would do this - if they come back. Because, to the southwest, you notice a storm brewing. Not just any winter storm - it looks like it could swallow the world.
You do what you were taught - get the chickens into the stables, call in the cats and dogs, extinguish the fires, shutter the houses, and then get to safety in your own small home. It is a sturdy building, maybe one of the best built in the whole hamlet, but as the winds start howling, you don't think it will stand a chance.
And then, pandemonium breaks loose. You cower under the bed, and it feels like every inch of the world is being torn apart. Then, there is a strange red glow in the air around you and you lose consciousness.
When you come back to your senses, it is eerily quiet and pitch dark. But it still feels somewhat warm - not much colder than it was.
