'Roja' means 'Rose' in Tamil. The film was later dubbed into Telugu and Hindi. The film recalls the real-life incident of a Kashmiri terrorist kidnapping an Indian oil official. The film starts with a Pakistani terrorist called Wasim Khan being arrested by Colonel Nayappa. To take revenge, the terrorists capture a Tamil cryptologist, Rishi Kapoor. Roja is his Tamil-speaking wife. Suddenly, she is left alone in Kashmir, where she does not know the local language. Rishi struggles to escape and is shown some sympathy by Liaqat's sister. Finally, she persuades a minister to release the prisoners. Then Rishi Kapoor is released and is reunited with Roja while the leader Liaqat is humanized. The film stars Arvind Swamy as Rishi Kumar, Pankaj Kapur as Liaqat and Madhubala as Roja. A. R. Rahman rose to prominence due to the beautiful music he composed in this film. The film won three National Filmfare awards for Best Music, Best Lyrics and for the Best Film of National Integration. The film was critically acclaimed for depicting patriotism towards the country.

Raj (Aamir) and Rashmi (Juhi) belonged to two warring Rajput clans and the film was about their love story and their elopement. The film ended tragically with Rashmi killed and Raj committing suicide.
QSQT saw the return of romantic musicals in Bollywood. This was followed by 'Maine Pyar Kiya' starring Salman Khan which was also a musical hit. These two movies revolutionised Bollywood and resulted in filmmakers focusing of romantic musicals.

Mala Sinha and Sharmila Tagore were the two heroines, the former being the wife of the Chinese spy, while the latter played the Indian's girlfriend.

The movie won 32 awards including Best Movie, Best Actor, and Best Director. The movie had been produced by the lead actor, Aamir Khan. Captain Russell, who was played by actor Paul Blackthorne, was an arrogant officer of the British rule in the province of Champaneer, India. Russell set a bet with a farmer that if beaten in a game of cricket, he would cancel the tax on the province. Captain Russell was shown throughout the film as being cruel and selfish towards the villagers.

Appropriately enough, "Naseeb", a story of destiny and fate, begins with a lottery ticket. A drunk who cannot pay his tab trades his 'winning' ticket to the waiter, Namdev, instead. Namdev, Damu, Ragu and one other friend decide to go in on the ticket together, but when it turns out to actually be a winner, Damu and Ragu turn on the other two, murdering the one and framing Namdev. Cut to ten years later - Damu and Ragu have used their stolen lottery money to build a fabulous hotel and make millions. Damu has used a share of his money to send his only son, Vicky to school in England. They have even employed Namdev's oldest son Johnny, Vicky's best friend, as a waiter in the hotel. By coincidence (or by fate!) John and Vicky fall in love with the same beautiful singer, Miss Asha. At the same time, John's younger brother Sunny has fallen for Asha's younger sister, Kim. Kim and Asha also happen to be the daughters of the man Namdev supposedly murdered. The lives of all these characters become intertwined and "Naseeb" becomes a poignant story about love, friendship, sacrifice and above all, destiny.

In "Dharam Veer", an astrologer informs Satpal Singh that his nephew will eventually kill him. When Satpal's sister, Maharani Meenakshi, gives birth to twins, he has one thrown from the castle walls, and replaces the second with his very own son. Years later, the two princes have grown up, one is Dharam, who was rescued by Sheroo, a pet bird of Jwala Singh. Thereafter brought up by Dhano and her husband Lohar, and the second is Veer, who lives in the palace. Satpal finds out to his horror that his wife, Roopmati, had switched the children a second time, as a result he has ended up abusing his very own son, Ranjit, thinking him to be Veer. Now Satpal plots with Prince Sujan Singh, Dev Singh, leader of gypsies, Azad, and their goal is to create emnity between Dharam and Veer, make them enemies, have Dharam kill Veer in a combat, and then subsequently hang Dharam for killing Veer. And to start this all, he has Lohar arrested, and charged with mishandling Meenakshi's carriage, has his hands chopped off, and the result - Dharam is out for vengeance - and he will destroy anyone who will come in his way.

It also promotes an innovation-based education system and speaks against mug learning. It is my overall favourite film. The film was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film was loosely adapted from the book 'Five point Someone - What Not to Do at IIT' by Indian author Chetan Bhagat. The film stars famous actors and actresses like Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R.Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Omi Vaidya and Bomani Irani. In the film, Farhan Qureshi, played by R. Madhavan, and Raju Rastogi, played by Sharman Joshi, fondly remember their college days at the Imperial College of Engineering with Ranchoddas Shyamaldas Chanchar. Later, they get to know that his actual name was Phunsukh Wangdu, a renowned scientist, played by Aamir Khan. Chatur Ramalingam, played by Omi Vaidya, was a boy who was always mugging up all the textbooks. In the film, Phunsukh Wangdu fell in love with Piya (played by Kareena Kapoor), the daughter of the headmaster Viru Sahasrabuddhe (played by Bomani Irani). It is a beautiful family film. Earlier, in 2008, Aamir Khan's film 'Ghajini' was the first ever Indian film to gross Rs. 100 crore (or 1 billion). Its record was finally broken by 'Chennai Express' in 2013, whose record was subsequently broken by 'Krrish 3' in the same year.

He had borrowed Sanjay Dutt's car to take his friend to the hospital. He spent a lot of time in jail because of Sanjay Dutt, who did not even give him a chance to tell his side of the story.
Imran Khan made his debut as a lead actor in the 2008 film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which was produced by his uncle Aamir Khan. The film did very well and was loved by every youngster in India.

'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' released in 2001 starred many of the top actors of Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee. The film, a major part of which was shot in London, became popular among Non-resident Indians (NRIs) to such an extent that it was on the top three lists in British theatres and the top ten of American theatres for a while. The movie had hit music by three music directors Jatin-Lalit, Sandesh Shandilya and Aadesh Shrivastava. The movie was directed by Karan Johar.
Rahul (Shahrukh) was the son of Yash (Amitabh) and Nandini (Jaya) and circumstances forced him to marry Anjali (Kajol) against his father's wishes. After an argument with his father, he left home and moved to London. His younger brother Rohan (Hrithik) went to London to search for his brother. The rest of the movie was about how Rohan reunited his family.

Rajesh Khanna played the roles of father and son, who were both air force pilots, although by the time the son joined the force, the father was already dead. Directed by Shakti Samanta in 1969, the film was entirely female-centric, with Sharmila Tagore doing full justice to her role.

"Rang Birangi" is the story of Ajay and Nirmala Sharma who have been married for years. Nirmala now feels that Ajay is not attracted to her anymore, and in despair, confides about this matter with his friend Deven. Deven concocts a tale which results in Ajay having an affair with his secretary, Anita Sood. Due to this affair Nirmala notices that Ajay has become more romantic and attentive with her. Deven then concocts another romance, this time with Nirmala and Anita's boyfriend, Prof. Jeet Saxena. When Ajay finds out, he confronts Nirmala, and Nirmala admits to this, but shrugs it off as a mere friendship. Deven concocts another plot whereby Jeet is to impersonate a private detective with a fictitious name of Dhurendra Bhatavdekar, and blackmail Ajay. Things get complicated when the real Bhatavdekar, a Police Inspector, and a uncle of Nirmala, gets involved, resulting in utter comical chaos.

In "Pati Patni Aur Woh", Ranjeet Chaddha and Sharda fall in love, and get married. Both live in perfect harmony and are proud parents of a baby boy. Then one day Sharda sees signs of a lipstick on her husband's kerchief, when she questions her husband, he clarifies and Sharda is satisfied with his explanation. What Sharda does not know that Ranjeet is carrying with his pretty Secretary, Nirmala Deshpande, whom he has convinced that his wife is seriously ill, is dying, and thereafter he will marry her. Watch how hilarious events unfold and prove that Ranjeet is a liar and a two-timer, watch him repent... but hold it! Not for long!
