Answer: Graham

Graham said he wanted to go into town. Amanda asked him why, and he said it was because he was running out of reasons why they shouldn't. He said this the second morning they were together.

We saw the car when Amanda took it into town. Poor Amanda got a crash course in driving on the opposite side of the road. Her trip to town was so adventurous that she needed a drink afterwards.

Amanda's company makes movie trailers. She has just finished her latest project when she decides to go on vacation and lets her assistants have the same time off. Rather amusingly, Amanda unwittingly sees and hears her own life as a movie trailer several times during the course of the movie.

"Where do they speak English? England!" Amanda says to herself, in the scene where she goes online to search for vacation rentals. Iris' house is the second one she sees on the website, and she loves it!

When Amanda was little, her father and mother broke up. She cried and cried for the longest time and after that she told herself to suck it up, and she never cried again. She didn't cry until the end of the movie when she realized that she loved Graham.

Graham was wondering if she would like a cup of hot chocolate along with his children. She said she was totally into it.

One of the things Iris wanted to do on her vacation was to eat carbs without guilt. She bought a lot of junk food and later pigged out on it while in bed watching TV. She was smart and remembered to make sure she had some Pepcid on her night stand.

After her parents split up, she cried herself to sleep for a long, long time, and then she decided that she had better toughen up, and she hasn't cried since. When she is leaving the cottage, however, she does cry. It makes her realize she doesn't want to leave Graham, so she goes back.

When their work is finished on their latest trailer, Amanda impulsively tells her crew that they should all get away for awhile. She then tells them she wants to read a whole book and eat carbs without wanting to kill herself! After this conversation, she goes straight to the computer and begins her search for vacation spots.

Amanda's company has just finished a trailer for a movie called "Deception", due to open on Christmas Day. Lohan and Franco actually appear in the trailer.

Amanda is just getting over her ex-boyfriend and does not want any romantic complications. "Zero," Iris answers. "When can I come?" Amanda replies.

Amanda kicked Ethan out of her house because she suspected he cheated on her with his secretary. He denied it at first, but eventually he fessed up.

Graham said this to Amanda as he was trying to explain to her how they were worlds apart. Graham said that he was a book editor from London, and Amanda was a movie trailer maker from LA. He also told her that he was learning to sew.

The lyrics to this song fit so well with this story line. The song is about a man catching his girlfriend/wife with someone else. The lyrics go on to say that he will be ok now and is trying to go on with his life.

Miles also tells her that when the winds blow, anything can happen. The Santa Ana winds are very strong winds that are found in California in fall and winter. The winds are so strong that when Miles and Iris first meet, the wind blew something into Iris's eye. Miles got it out for her.

Sophie, played by Miffy Englefield, and Olivia, played by Emma Pritchard are Graham's young, completely adorable daughters! These two are the most charming little things you have ever seen, and they steal every scene they're in. They reveal, during their first meeting with Amanda, just how lonely they are for an adult female in their lives, since the death of their mother.

Maggie says she's on location, but Miles sees her with another man on Christmas Eve night. Seems she has lied to him and has been back for several days...with the other man.

The letters have been coming for some time, informing him of an impending tribute to his life, at which the organization would like him to be the guest of honor. In the scene where Iris comes to Arthur's house and brings in the mail, she opens (with his reluctant permission) the latest such letter, and begins questioning him on why he doesn't want to be a part of the tribute. He simply does not believe there will be more than eleven people who care enough to attend, and he will not be embarrassed in front of those few.

Amanda was traveling to England to get away from Ethan and all men, so when Iris told her there were "zero" men where she was, Amanda agreed to come right away.

Iris was looking at a letter that Arthur received from the Writer's Guild of America. She was trying to persuade him to go to the celebration. He didn't want to go because he thought he would embarrass himself. Iris told him that with a bit of exercise he would probably be able to walk up to the stage himself.

Iris' boss, Jasper, announced his engagement to Sarah in front of everyone at the office Christmas party. It was the first time Iris learned of the news and needless to say she got very upset.

Amanda has decided, after only a few hours, that she has made a mistake and doesn't belong at Rosehill Cottage. She tells Graham that she'll be flying out the next day, but Graham, already smitten with her, tells her that if she changes her mind, he'll be having dinner with friends at the pub. When he arrives at the pub, he immediately looks around for her, and they smile at each other across the room.

Miles writes a theme for Arthur that will play as he is walking up the stage at his tribute. He also writes a theme for Iris, telling her that he "used only the good notes."

As Iris starts to put the corsage on her wrist, Arthur tells her that she doesn't have to wear it if it won't match her outfit, or if it's corny. She tells him that she likes corny. She's looking for corny in her life. He compliments her on the nice line.
